Another Thursday Night

Another Thursday night in Craig, MT tying flies. This is the time of the year where the "itch" gets more and more intense and I find every opportunity to chuck streamers. If it's above 40 degrees, I'll probably be fishing. The problem is, if in fact this is a problem, is that the dry fly fishing has been pretty epic as midge hatches have been solid above the Wolf Creek Bridge. Good fish have been rolling on clusters and it's tough to ignore that and chuck big uglies when there are so many targets. But I have my streamer box full of just about every color pattern imaginable so look out big brown trout. I'll be gunning for you soon.
