Yesterday was the last hurrah for the 2015 duck season here in Montana. We managed to shoot a few geese that were leftovers from the hundreds/thousands that were here just a few days ago. We only saw a few good ducks, which surprised us since we had plenty just a couple days ago on Monday. The weather was good. We were there right up to the end but the greenheads just didn't show. It was like an alarm went off on Tuesday and every puddle duck in Montana headed south and took most of the geese with them. Oh well, it was a good season and we did get some shots at passing geese. Not epic but a decent end to the season.
