Marry Wilson, just going into eighth grade, loved to fish but had never fly fished before. I don't think she really knew what to expect. The first day she nailed it. Here's her and her dad with a double before lunch on day one. I think she's hooked. Thanks Mitch and Skinny Water Anglers for the opportunity to fish with the Carters again.
One thing I almost never do is get people to throw dry flies on their first day out. She did and she did it well. This brown was the last fish she caught on a dry on day two. Well done MW. Well done.
