The duck hunting has definitely slowed down as we have done a pretty good job at educating them. Jordon LaRue and I went out for a morning hunt, which was slow to be certain. Weather was not right, ducks were not flying until someone kicked up a flock of a few hundred geese and a couple hundred mallards and when they did get up, they never even looked to sit down again until they were miles away. We did manage to shoot a few and missed a couple. Of all my years duck hunting as a kid and now getting back into it, this is the first I've ever shot a duck that was banded. Kind of cool.
