So supposedly, yesterday was the best skiing there's been at Bridger Bowl in like, four years. I wouldn't know because I suck at skiing and I'm even worse in two feet of powder but the locals can vouch for me. I picked up my new boots I bought from Round House and skis I purchased off eBay for $67 and headed out to the slopes...
I've never skied Bridger so I was winging it. I stayed on the bottom for my trial run with the new gear but the second time up I skipped over to the Bridger lift for a little more adventure. The second pole I passed on the lift warned me that only "expert skiers" were allowed where I guess I was going...oops.
One thing about skiing in two feet of powder is that it's an incredibly soft landing when you eat it. It doesn't help with the whip lash though. I'm pretty sore today; not gonna lie. But it was a blast.
