Creepy Crawlers

Two days in a row last week, I ran into some potentially dangerous critters along the Missouri. This Western/Prairie Rattler and a Black Widow. Pretty crazy. I've never seen a rattlesnake in the river and although I've seen black widows in my house, I've never seen them along the banks either.

In the grand scheme of things, the rattlesnake is the only venomous snake in Montana according to Katie, my client that took the picture and although they are poisonous they probably won't kill you and the spider; they are slow...just get out of the way and you should be fine.

Keep 'em where they live...
