Trophy Hunting

With the warm weather, the only successful hunting I've been doing is tree hunting. This one is a beauty!

For as long as I can remember, a person could buy a permit to cut a Christmas tree in Montana for only 5 bucks. As I've said a number of times in the past, I'm a meat hunter so I'm not looking for the perfect rack or the biggest animal to harvest. A Christmas tree is a little different though. Patrick and I hiked a long way and passed up a number of good trees in order to take this one.

Keep 'em where they live...
