Eat Me

This would be a trico and there have been literally millions of these little guys at the Craig Bridge the past few mornings. They usually hatch early in the morning and mate in clouds along the bank and over the bridges and around 9:30 or 10 o'clock, they come back to the water in a huge spinner fall. When they do, they collect in the eddies and seams and fish devour them in non-stop sipping pods of dozens of fish...Well, that's what's suppose to happen but the fish haven't got the trico memo yet. Hopefully soon. When you only see a handful of fish up eating in 8 miles of river and you're only throwing dries, it can make for a long day.

Keep 'em where they live...
