August Update

First of all, I have to say a big CONGRATS! to Courtney and Mike Kuhnert on their wedding. The smoke dissipated for the day on Saturday, the sun cam out and everything went as planned.

As for me, it's been busy around the house with a couple days off, buying trim and casing doors. One step further to completion. I thought I'd get it all fished this week with about a stretch of open days but the bookings keep coming in and I'm finding myself just as busy with guiding as I always am this time of the year. You got to make hay, right?

Check this out; Treg and Carol Owings came out and booked a last minute trip with me last week and one of the rainbows we got early puked this thing up. Yup, the proof is in the pudding. It's crayfish, (or crawfish for you southerners,) on the menu.

There was also another late dinner request that I knew fish ate but I never really did well on until the other day. It's tough to find a pattern to match them but when fish are on them, they are REALLY on them. It's the bees knees folks and I'll be coming up with something to emulate those pesky buggers in the next day or two. Stand by.

Keep 'em where they live...
