Scum-Lining with Montana Dream Fishing Outfitters

I produced this video last year with a client and good friend. I took a goose decoy and mounted a PVC pipe to the bottom of it and then attached a GoPro camera and guided it into a scum-line to get an idea of how many trout get stacked up into these runs and what they see. Then Rick and I fished that scum-line. It's kind of cool to see.

This year, the water came up right when those scum-lines should be fishing, which makes it tough. However, the water is now coming down and those runs are stacked with fish and they are happy. Covid-19 has opened up our calendars and people are booking last-minute trips to take advantage of opportunities to get outdoors and socially distance themselves.
