It's not hard to call your shots at this time of year when you're fishing the scum-lines. To call a double may be a little better but still...it's the scum-line. Fish are in them and they are happy. Be kind though. It's like picking fish out of a barrel and the more we pound them the more we distroy a resource that may not be there when you really need 'em.
It was good to see nobody parked at Jackson Rock yesterday even with a dozen or so boats putting in at Craig when we did. We puttered around above the Craig Bridge for a while before moving down and I fully expected there to be a half dozen boats doing the row-arounds pounding on these fish but there weren't so we took a couple trips, caught a few fish and headed down.
