Meet my new roommate. He's quite and doesn't eat all my groceries. Perfect.
The weather is getting hot, pressure is on the rise, water levels are rising as well so the fishing...not great. It seems that the reservoirs are finally full and now they're releasing as much as what is coming in so that means with the late run-off, (I know, it's all so confusing. First it was early run-off but then the weather got cool so the snow-pack stuck around. I think this is stage three, which doesn't mean everything is blowing out but does mean a sustained higher flow.) the river is now above what would be normal for this time of year. We went from 11,000cfs to 4,000cfs in a week and now back up to around 7k. Consequencely, we had poor dry-fly fishing but good nymph fishing and then really good dry-fly fishing and so-so nymph fishing and now...well?
Keep 'em where they live...
