Being up here is Wolf Creek, one feels a little obligated to hit the river regardless of the weather. A couple buddies from Headhunters and I hit it yesterday amid the snow squalls and wind and chucked streamers. We did ok for about an hour and a half landing a handful of browns. The rest of the day we fought the grip of cold on the hands and took turns rowing...rowing is much more attractive in 39 degree weather. The midges, however, are clustering up and when conditions are right, the fish are on them. We shall see what the next couple weeks bring.
