Gush!!

The max probable for flow below Holter was projected at 15,000 cfs for June. Today I looked and it's at 14,900...I think we will be above 15,000 soon and the Dearborn has also come up to 1,500 cfs in the past couple days. That's not quite as bad as the 5,000 cfs of a couple years ago but it is big. It will be interesting to see what happens. If the nights stay cool and we don't get heavy rains, it will stabilize and we should see big water but good visibility and the nymphing will be good. Or should I say the worming? Lots of protein is being dumped into the river as islands are submerged and the river is scouring the banks. The fish love it and when you get 'em, they look like footballs...fat footballs.
