Holy Crap I suck at golf! I thought I was pretty decent but then I went with a couple guys I've guided throughout the summer to Old Works in Anaconda yesterday and I shot a 94...and that was after cheating. Crazy.
I will say this however, the course was beautiful and extremely tough. It's a Jack Nicklaus course designed by The Golden Bear and let me tell you, Jack's kind of an asshole to us double digit handicappers. If I had to do it again, (and I would by the way,)I think I'd stick to playing the copper tees instead of the gold and as for the black; forget about it.
I'm going to limp back to the muni course in Helena today for my third day off in a row and try to get some assembly of self dignity back. I'll be back on the water tomorrow for another stretch.
