I'm glad to be back on the Missouri for a few days this week. The Madison was tough. The guys were good guys and eager to learn so the instructional part of day one in the Bo'Zone was fun but with the water being a bit off-colored, the Lower-Madi kind of schooled us. We had caddis flies all afternoon and some golden stones but nothing would eat them. The few fish we did catch were on San Juan worms.
The Missouri is still fishing like the Missouri does. I'm hoping the weather holds and people will start booking trips. It should start getting full-on busy soon.
Keep 'em where they live...
