Yesterday was the day it was almost the most epic day on the river in recent times...but it wasn't. It was good but we still haven't seen any BWO's and when that happens, it will get stupid. It's shaping up to be the best November we will all remember for a LONG time. Unfortunately, nobody will be here for it accept us local dudes.
We did finally see bugs again yesterday but they were those pesky little pseudoes. Still not the big bugs but at least there were a few fish up eating them and the nymph fishing was very good. Other guys were stroking them on the streamers as well. We short leashed for most of the day. The nursery is full force right now so although the Canyon is gorgeous right now, you'll have a tough time fighting through the dinks to move the big boys.
Keep 'em where they live...
