A Beautiful Bug

Again, they simplest bug in the world to tie and versatile. You can tie the zebra midge in the traditional black and silver or do what a lot of us do and tie brown and red or olive and copper and this little bug will catch fish on any river in the West at just about any time of the year. And it's less than a 30 second tie. I like that...a lot.

Here's Patrick reeling in a monster on the Madi yesterday  using a brown and red zebra midge. Ok, it wasn't a monster but it was to him.
