Soo-ie!!

 
Treg Owings with a monster rainbow caught yesterday on a "two-bit hooker." This is the biggest rainbow I've seen in the Lower-Missouri. We taped it at just a pinch under 24 inches. Before you guys start sending me pics of rainbows taken out of lakes or other places in the world with an entirely different ecology and even different strain of fish, just realize that this is a pig of a fish for this stretch of the river. In my ten years of guiding out here, I've have had clients catch browns that were of equal size and maybe a touch bigger but I've never seen a rainbow stretch the tape out to two-feet.
